The major officials of most developed nations are Meeting in Copenhagen to discuss the politics and positioning of what was formerly known as global warming and now known as climate change. The reason they changed the name is that the recent research on climate temperatures has shown a decrease over the last several years. This study has not been recieved well by proponents of global warming. This is evident in the recent emails that have been leaked to the public from the group that supplies the U.N. with their data that showed they were making "tricks" or adjustments to the figures so they can show things in favor of the political position they like. So now they call it global climate change.
I am definately not a documented scientist nor do I hold a paper degree in science yet I do study a lot and have come across some findings by major scientists that have me asking questions about what these so called climate experts are saying.
I am not saying they are wrong with their research. It is easy to show that strange things are happening in the climate on our planet, however there may be other things going on that these so called experts may not be taking in to account.
Let me present my thoughts on this subject.
Let's cover a few things surrounding natural phenomenon on our planet and in our solar system to help us understand a few things. Now the most geologicaly active part of our world is volcanoes. One big volcanic eruption can spew as
Much as carbon dioxide as the entire city of L.A. does in a week. I think volcanoes play a huge roll in carbon emissions.
I believe it is around 80% of volcanic activity occur under water so a lot of carbon does not even make it to the atmosphere. A lot is stuck in the ocean. Now let's think this through. What do you get when you emit carbon dioxide in to water? Soda water. With a little sugar, caffine, and Carmel food coloring we would get Coke. I think there is a lot of carbon in solution I our water considering this has been happening for centuries. Now when you warm up soda the carbon dioxide solution breaks down and the gas is allowed to escape from the water. A process we call " going flat". As the ocean temperatures rise they could be expelling more and more carbon dioxide into the air that they have been holding for a long time. How much could they be spewing out I don't know. I'm not even sure if the climatologists know either. I do think it would be worth looking into.
Another question I have is about how our earth recieves heat. The bulk of the heat we experience comes from the sun. The sun is basically a giant ball of hydrogen gas that is under going the process of nuclear fusion where four hydrogen atoms are being smashed together to create helium. The result of this process is heat and light for us. Now I know that is a very simplified version of what really happens in the sun yet I think it will work for us. Because of the fusion the core of the sun is shrinking so to maintain balance the outer parts of the sum are expanding and getting bigger. This is the normal life cycle of stars like our sun. Because of this the sun is slowly coming closer to us and getting warmer. I'm not sure how fast the sun is heating up and how that is affecting us. I'm not sure if that has been accounted for in climate research.
Because of the radiation and highly charged particles the sun gives off our planet has an electromagnetic shield around us that helps to keep us safe. This shield is why we can use compasses for navigation. Scientists that study this field have realized tha it is a fluid thing and not a solid or non moving part of our planet. It does have fluctuations in it. Magnetic north actually is migrating away from true north a little each year. In studying the history of our magnetic field scientists have also found out that every several thousand years this field weakens and flips causing magnetic south to be in the north and vice versa. The last time the field weakened and flipped was around 8-10,000 years ago so really we are over due for this to occur. When the field weakens more radiation and charged particles will enter our atmosphere and can not only increase our temperatures some it can also increase cancer from sun exposure. There is quite a lot of evidence that our field is weakening and probably has been for a while now. They think it may flip in a few hundred to a thousand years. I have yet to see if this evidence has been accounted for in climate research.
I think the bulk of the research on climate change has been more based on the rise of ocean levels and the rapid loss of sea ice in the poles. While these are things to be concerned about there are other ways this can be accounted for other than just human caused carbon emissions. With all the earthquakes and volcano activity the ocean floor could be slowly getting shallower may be something to look at. I doubt it is a manor factor yet it points out that there are more than one way for this effect to have been caused.
Some scientists believe they have discovered antartica is a giant glacier that is sitting on an ancient volcano and there are signs that it may becoming active to an extent.
I do not think that any of the things Ive discussed here are the cause of the oceans warming up yet if they all worked in unison it could make a difference.
Now I do think we as humans can definately exacerbate the issue through emitting our own greenhouse gasses and we should work to make sure we are taking care of our planet and being good stewards of it. If we can find more efficient and cleaner ways of doing things we should consider switching to them anyway.
I'm just not convinced that it is all our fault. I think scientists can show that since the industrial age began we have had an increase in green house gases in the air yet I think we may have been more of a catalyst rather than the whole problem. We may have sped the cycle up that the earth was doing anyway.
Another factor in this is to look at scripture of the future and see what they say. We know in the book of revelation that before Jesus comes again on this earth that the wicked will be burned as stubble. Could that point to a warming anyway? In more modern revelation we learn that when the Lord is through teaching his gospel to the gentile nations through missionary work he will begin to teach them humility through major storms and earth quakes and plagues and pestilence. Climate change may just be us looking at what is going on and saying " boy, something is happening and we are headed in a bad direction." really it may be something we most likely will not be able to stop or even reverse. All we can do is slow our part down and see how that changes the effects we are experiencing.
If anyone has answers to if climate research has accounted for any of the ideas above please let me know. Otherwise I will continue to believe we are not the cause but we do need to stop contributing to it.

I find it very interesting your use of science and God in your posts. I hear often that the more that scientists study the earth and learn about the earth the closer they are coming to the conclusion that God exists. I have very much enjoyed reading your thoughts. Keep them up!
